9 questions before you choose a CRM for your company in Saudi Arabia

Last updated: 4 November 2026 · 4 min read

In short: do not compare systems by their number of features. Ask these nine questions, and test the system yourself in a free trial instead of relying on a presentation.

1. Is the Arabic real, or a translation?

Open the system and type a customer name in Arabic, then try the tables, the reports and printing. Right-to-left layout, numbers and dates, and the fonts on printed invoices all reveal the difference between a truly Arabic system and a translated one.

2. Where does e-invoicing stand?

Ask precisely: does the invoice carry the ZATCA QR code (Phase 1) only, or is there full integration with the Fatoora platform with submission and approval (Phase 2)? Is that part of the subscription or an extra fee? Do not settle for the word "compliant".

3. How is it priced: per user or per company?

Per-user pricing suits small teams, but the bill rises with every hire. A flat plan per company suits mid-sized teams. Work out your team's cost now and in a year.

4. Are invoices, inventory and projects inside the system?

If you sell products or deliver projects, a system that links the customer to the quote, the invoice, the inventory and the project saves you several tools and repeated data entry.

5. Can I import my data from Excel?

During the trial, import a real file of your own, not a sample. See how it handles missing columns and duplicate numbers.

6. How are permissions managed?

Does each rep see only their own customers while the manager sees everything? Can you invite a new employee and switch off a departing one easily? This protects your customer base when the team changes.

7. Where is my data kept, and is it isolated from others?

Ask where the system is hosted, whether companies are isolated at the database level or only in the interface, and how backups work.

8. Can I leave with my data?

Make sure you can export your customers and invoices to Excel at any time, and find out what happens to your account if you stop paying. A system that holds your data hostage is not a partner.

9. Does it work on mobile, and who supports me in Arabic?

Sales teams work from their phones more than from the office. Check that the system installs as an app and keeps your work when the network is weak, and that support answers in Arabic within a reasonable time, ideally on WhatsApp.

How does Entilaqah CRM answer? Arabic right-to-left with an English switch, customers, projects, inventory and invoices in one system, a team with permissions, Excel import, every company isolated at the database level, export at any time, and it installs as an app on your phone. Invoicing currently uses the ZATCA QR code; full integration (Phase 2) is not available yet. A 14-day free trial lets you check for yourself.
